Gorgeous Badass Online Music Festival TOMORROW + Life-preserving benefit next week

Hello babes,

In a world gone mad,  we've got ... INTERNET CONCERTS!!!!

Sit on your cute booty, turn on, tune IN, and drop out to all this good stuff!

Click the pic for a trippy lecture by our friend Dr. Leary :)

Wow,  the internet truly has been rocking in my world.  I don't know if you're zoomed out and scrolled out yet - hopefully not,  because the world is ALL at our fingertips if we've got a good internet connection.  Whew!

Not too much for sentimental ramblings here,  but just please accept my heartfelt gratitude for opening this email :)

Below you'll find a bunch of info about online concerts coming up.  I'm extremely excited to be on the roster for Festival of the Valkyrie tomorrow,  Friday, May 1st. What an INCREDIBLE line up of Womxn and a kick ass panel discussion.  Panel kicks off on Zoom at 8:30am and music begins at 11.  I'll take the virtual stage for a twenty minute jam packed set from 11:50am-12:10pm CST.

Next Saturday May 9th is a benefit for a wonderful human,  Jessa Roquet of Gambler's Daughter who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in the midst of a global pandemic.  Will you support,  and be a life preserver?  We would like Jessa to rock with us into the old rocking chair ages.   Info below.

I lots of online archives too - an interview with Wellness goddess Amy Patee for her "Tools for Humanity" Series is up on YouTube, and an interview with Mizuno Running North America as one of their first Artist Ambassadors! Links below.

The World is Your Lover Album Release News

The bittersweet news coming atcha!  Due to COVID-19,  we have postponed our album release for awhile.  The official release street date will be August 21st!  Available on bandcamp, CDBaby, itunes,  spotify,  all the things then.  Two new videos will be released as well!!

The actual celebration PARTY is October 23rd now - all who purchased tickets - yours will be honored for Oct. 23.  A slightly different line up - so sad that Superior Siren can't take the bill, but the wonderful new trio Turn Turn Turn will come on and entertain us.  Alan Sparhawk will stay,  unless he is on tour with Low (Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin justcovered another Low song,  by the way!!!).

Whew there is so much more,  but I gotta get ready to teach mantras! LOVE TO YOU ALL!!!!!

Stay well!  Wash your hands! xoxoxo Mary

Going Live with Love: Songs of Support for Jessa Saturday, May 9th 11am

Streaming on Facebook Live.  My set is 5-5:15pm

Jessa Roquet is a beloved and integral member of the Twin Cities music community whose life has recently been turned upside-down by a diagnosis of stage 4 liver cancer – all in the time of Covid-19 spreading like wildfire across the globe. As a single mother of three daughters and a (pre-Covid) gigging musician, Jessa has a full-life, and now must do all that she can to preserve it.

To help show support and raise funds to cover Jessa’s medical bills, and keep her basic bills paid, 28 local musicians will be performing 15 minute sets via Facebook Live from the group page “Going Live with Love: Songs of Support for Jessa Roquet” from 11-6pm on Saturday, May 9th, 2020. Donations to Jessa will be raised via her GoFundMe page, or sent directly to her via Venmo.
