Join Mary Bue and Tara Cindy Sherman in raising the creative feminine energy known as shakti while raising funds for the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund. Help support hurting individuals and communities recover from "Operation Metro Siege".

We will come together to draw upon the powerful yogic archetype Durga who is known as both a warrior goddess and an unconditional loving mother. Durga is said to embody parental love as she comes to the aid of those in need to fight the good fight against injustice, negativity and all that does not come from love. She shines brightly as the solar goddess, the protector of all that's good and true and bestows compassion to those in need.

Durga is most often seen riding a tiger though sometimes her mount (vahana) is a lion. Both of these animals speak to the immense power and strength she wields and reflects how we too need spiritual strength to carry on in this age of chaos and transformation.

Rockin' the Shakti part 1 is all about playfulness and accessing strength through the ROAR of Durga as we access her energy with Shakti Flow, drumming and chanting.  Rockin' the Shakti part 2 is all about the PURR as we cultivate deep rest and bathe in Durga's light of renewal with Yin and Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Sonic Blessings. Whether you want to ROAR or PURR or both we would love to raise shakti with you for a good cause!
